Welcome to the ICCS Web Resources Portal. The Portal aims to give international Canadianists access to important and relevant scholarly resources on Canada necessary to pursue teaching and research in the field of Canadian Studies. The ICCS is proud to offer this new and important service to its members.
Canadian Electronic Library (requires a username and password)
This electronic library contains full-text access to over 8000 scholarly books on Canada, published by the most important Canadian scholarly presses. The CEL is a special service restricted to members of Canadian Studies Associations and Associate Members of the ICCS, and is available in part to the financial assistance of the Department of Foreign Affaires and International Trade. The IJCS is the Canadian Studies resources par excellence. Thanks in part to the financial assistance of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the next issues of the IJCS, starting with issue 39, will be available, through Érudit, to every Canadianists around the world.

Issues 1 to 34 are available in PDF format thanks to the Institute of Canadian Studies at the University of Alberta.
E-STATS (open access)
E-stat is an interactive learning tool combining Canadian socio-economic data with graphing and mapping features. It also includes the data of the 2001 census, historical censuses, and selected articles from various Statistics Canada publications (Canadian Social Trends, Health Reports, Human Activity and the Environment, etc.).
ICCS’ Web Resources Document
This document is an annotated directory of online resources (note: most, but not all are open access). It is categorized by types of documents: Books / Bibliographies / Journals / Papers (policy, research, working, etc.) / Reference Works (encyclopedia, bibliographies, guides, etc.) / Databases / Educational resources / Newsletters / Books reviews. Although certainly not comprehensive, it does lead to over 100 sites, which offer useful and important electronic documents.
