La Caixa-Canada Scholarships
La CAIXA and the Canadian Studies Foundation are pleased to offer 5 scholarships each year to Spanish students and researchers for advanced studies and research in Canada.
"La CAIXA" is a non-profit community financial institution (founded in 1904) serving the entire country of Spain and is the first private sponsor of fellowship programs, providing 135 new fellowships each year, among which are these 10 fellowships for Canada in a cooperative program with the "Canadian Studies Foundation” in Spain. The Canadian Studies Foundation, established by the Government of Canada and the Spanish Association for Canadian Studies in Spain, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a greater knowledge of Canada in Spain through graduate scholarship programs for Spanish students.
In Canada, the administration of the scholarships is ensured by the International Council for Canadian Studies (cristina.frias@iccs-ciec.ca), which works in conjunction with the International Education & Youth Division (PCE) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT).
